Really impressive graphically. All the effects feel really polished.

I didn’t really understand why everytime I failed a puzzle, it would bring me back to an earlier puzzle? The animations are nice but it felt slow when restarting over and over again.

Controls for the stars minigame felt a bit frustrating though, maybe replace the slider with something else?

Really fun little game. The graphics and sound were pretty good, the northern lights were amazing

It took me a couple of goes to realise the numbers on the side were how many cats were meant to be placed in that row or column

Sometimes the speech sounded like it said “no” when it was the right answer

\n

The star clouds thing was pretty nice, but with the slider hard to control - I can imagine it would be easier on mobile or touch

Wow! Excellent production of a clever puzzle that I haven’t exactly seen before. It scratches the same itch as Sudoku and Minesweeper, and in such elegant style.

I’m not crazy about the star-collecting parts, that felt kind of tacked-on.

\n

I played up to 1032 stars, hoping for an increase in difficulty that I guess doesn’t exist. It would be really cool if you expand this with larger puzzles!

Warning, on my french computer, the speech synth uses a french voice/accent in the intro. In the rest of the game it switched to a proper english voice/accent.\nVery impressive graphics. Interesting puzzles. Congrats

This kind of felt like a David Lynch movie, with all of the weird voices and strange noises and percussion. Very cool vibe you created!!

The puzzles were a good level of difficulty, and got pretty tricky at the end.

The star stage was pretty cool, too, I thought. I have a vague memory of a Kirby game doing something like this. The “cloud vortex” background in this stage was very impressive!

I think more stars appear in the star stage depending on how well you do in the puzzles? Is that correct? Maybe some little indicator of how well you’re doing in the puzzle stage would be good. It wasn’t completely clear to me if failing a puzzle had any repercussions

Nice puzzles, beautiful graphics and animations.

It was fun to see two games in one, although the controls to collect stars are a bit challenging. On mobile, the control bar was hidden by the browser’s UI at first, I found it because I saw it on desktop.

The sources are hard to read.

Absolutely stunning northern lights effect! The way the music evolves is fantastic, and the generated visuals are incredibly cool. REFLECTIONS! The pacing feels just right, and I loved the mini-game for collecting stars. The music has a wonderfully improvisational style to it, and the entire game is consistent in its unique and original aesthetic.

The speech API “meow” gets me every time - it’s hilarious! And the cats flying upwards are downright hypnotic.

I really loved the game - the celestial theme & ambience are dreamy, and the mechanics feel smooth and thoughtful. The controls are satisfying and the pacing keeps you invested. If there’s one thing: sometimes I’d like more challenge in later stages, but it’s already a gorgeous, fun ride.

I really like the bleeps and bloops sound effects really goes well with the clever puzzle solving feeling. Overall presentation is a little bit disjointed but I had fun completing it.

What an interesting mix of Soduko and Cats! I really like the sudden change where you are grabbing stars as well - it’s all very neat! I wish that there was a way to restart on the same level I failed, but otherwise, fantastic game.

Wow, the graphics are amazing! And I love the little details, like the reflections.

The trees & tents puzzle is one of my favorites. So naturally I had lots of fun playing this too. And cats and stars are much more fun than trees & tents 😁

I really liked the music, very impressive. And the speech synthesis was a clever touch, though for me that part dampened the overall impression a little bit: the rest of the game feels so well polished that you can forget it’s the js13k context, only to be reminded of it again by a fake meow. (Even though it’s kind of fun)

I noticed two levels that had multiple solutions, which was slightly irritating, but no big issue.

In general, I really really liked this entry!
