\nThis was very fun, though. When the game timer starts showing milliseconds, you really feel the pressure! Good going!

\nI ran into a couple glitches: one time it looked like I landed on a roof but then I died, and another time I fell off the side of the map but didnât die. I also had a bit of an issue with movement, if you hold left while running into a building, then jump (while still holding left) you donât start moving left once you clear the building.

As others have mentioned the controls + collision detection cause problems that make the game frustrating, as hitting a wall disables the ability to move forward without pressing a button again. Iâd also recommend a more readable font, and maybe having the timer turn red as it gets closer to 0, as it is I felt like I just died out of nowhere. More minor, but Iâve already heard this exact song on repeat lots of times this year, and many times over the last few years. Copy/pasting a song from the zzfxm website means youâre going to have the same song as a lot of people, and it can get old pretty fast. Its not that the song is bad by any means, just heard it a lot in a lot of games at this point.
\nStill I like the ideas here, its a fun simple game that could just use a couple small tweaks. Especially for only being 16, this is a really nice accomplishment, I look forward to seeing the games you come up with in the future!

\nNot sure what happened on my âgood runâ where I was like on level 5+ and it just suddenly ended with 35 mice even though I had like 15 seconds left on the timer. Now that I think about it, it must have been 7th level due to 5 per level.
\nThe controls were a bit clunky. Biggest annoyance was how jumping next to a wall compeltely ate your horizontal speed. I also felt that manually unloading the mice was a bit unnecessary (and had to retort to reading the description of the game because didnât figure out the weird key for it on my first try). There wasnât really any scenarios where youâd want to drop the mice elsewhere especially with the ability to drop them inside walls hence soft locking yourself and manually needing to mash Q on there felt pointless.
\nThe randomness of the levels can also really be a nuisance sometimes too. There can be a big gap between the elevator and majority of mice meaning you need to do several trips or you canât make the jump with all the weight. And other times you immediately can grab all the mice and roll to the nearby elevator without any issues. Itâd be nicer if the difficulty on the randomness relied a bit more on how far on the levels you were.
\nReally enjoyed the music! It had a nice chipper mood that really reminded me of NES days. All while playing it kept reminding me of some specific song/game and now while writing this I think it was a NES âclassicâ Cheetahmen from Action 52, a garbage game with a banging theme tune (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WZlYGN5W2Yg). And now that I listen to it, itâs not even that similar but it did somehow seem familiar.
\nSound effects did their job but could have used a bit more of them to go with the tunes. It still felt a bit barren and quiet. And of course some slight variation to the sound effects always helps.

\nGreat work on the music! Having it stereo was a really nice touch.
\nAlso I enjoyed the charming graphics. The cat, rats and buildings were all in harmony. I could feel the vibe of being a night cat delivering rats from the roof of city.
\nI managed to get 36 moneys, and I think I have managed to see everything the game had. Maybe you could make the game only 10 levels and vary a bit until the end â that would make it a short and complete experience.
\nI usually try to play the games first, without reading the instructions or descriptions. In your game it was impossible to figure out what I should do with the rats initially, and then I had no idea Q could drop the rats.
\nThe only real technical problem I experienced was not being able to switch directions if Iâm pressing some arrow key. Like I jumped and tried to go right, because I was walking right, but I got stuck. That made the platforming experience less enjoyable.

\nIt looks very funny when you collect a bunch of mice and they all stack up on your back. I also liked that it was nonviolent and youâre helping the mice, not eating them!
\nI agree with the other comments saying that the jumping feels a bit off, especially when you jump against a wall but itâs not a big issue.
\nI also agree that having to press Q to drop them off is a bit redundant, this could happen automatically when you reach the elevator.
\nThe background colour could be adjusted a bit from pure black because the cat just completely blends in like this.
\nGood music and sound effects, they add to the mood of the game.
\nGreat job releasing this, excited to see what other games youâll make next!
