Really cool that you made a full 3d shooter! It took me a bit to figure out how the white cats worked (I kept trying to shoot them) but otherwise the game made sense.

Big thanks for playing!\nWhite cats were meant to create an uneasy feeling. I hope it wasn’t too much :)

A classic 3D FPS featuring clear objectives and intuitive guidance! The visual style perfectly captures the horror-shooter atmosphere. However, the enemies (white cats) are incredibly frustrating—they spawn nearby without any warning, consistently causing unexpected damage. Refining the enemy spawn mechanics could significantly enhance the overall experience.

Thanks for playing!\nWell thats a cool point of someone playing your game you can find. things youll never find yourself.\nIll never think of players will find white cats so annoying because I love them)

Nice entry, a little too dark for me but still interesting to play.\nWhite cats were superannoying as they didnt separate from the player, I felt I needed to do something to escape from them but couldnt find how.

\n

Also it took me a while to understand that clicking was shooting, I felt it was just attacking. Some orb from the player would had been nice.

\n

I liked the different kind of enemies.

\n

Good work

Thanks a lot for your feedback.\nBetter shooting were out of my reach because of resourses limits - my knowledge and possible time on the project were way too limited. Hope I’ll reach it somewhen.

\n

And the white cats. They were intended ‘ghosts’ that scare player, doing minimal to zero damage, because they can hirt player only when you look at them, and they appear only when you shoot some of the black cats. So they were intended to keep player somewhat disoriented and panicked until he gets that they do not do any harm if you just ignore them complitely.

\n

And now it is unexpectedly surprising that it was disorienting by a way bigger margin then intended :)\nBut thats a cool lesson for me in the future .

Impressive to get the 3d in this game. As others have said, took me a little time time to figure out the nuances of the game. But impressive. good job.

With ‘Cats’ and ’Cat’acombs - this game touches on the theme twice in some ways! Well done for sticking to the theme.

\n

I also enjoyed how you interwove the game instructions into the game play through the pop up text. It made the game easy to pick up.

\n

It would be great to have some horror music in addition to the current sound effects to really bring the game together and complement the spooky visuals.

I actually had some ideas to expand both the theme and the soundscape, but I had to cut them during the finishing run. I’d definitely like to revisit those ideas if I find the time and resources.

Nice 3D shooter! I liked the visuals and atmosphere, it definitely felt like I was underground in some catacombs. I couldn’t quite figure out the white cat/wraiths at first but I actually liked the idea that they would hang around and they had to be avoided.

Controls are responsive and movement feels speedy. Took me a bit to get my bearings (initially was doing all the wrong things, trying to shoot green orbs, run over black cats, and so on). Once I figured it out through trial and error though it was pretty smooth sailing.

\n

Suggestions: it’s all pretty dark, especially in levels 3+ as the maze gets more complicated it was really hard to tell where I was going. I think you could brighten it up a little, OR keep it dark but add a little texturing to the walls/floors.

\n

For the “ghosts”, you have a unique idea (mostly harmless unless you stare at them); I think though a small revamp could make them more intuitive. If you made them slowly chase the player and drain you if they manage to touch you, I think it then becomes a “OK, I just need to keep constantly moving” situation which feels pretty natural. Just one option though :).

\n

Thanks for the game!

Always impressive to see 3D games without any extra libraries! But I was pretty disappointed when the game looked nothing like the thumbnail promised, not gonna lie!

\n

The game is a little confusing, as it was hard to understand what was going on. Was I attacking the cats, or were they attacking me? I was losing HP, so I guess they were attacking me. So I focused on catching the orbs, but they would still attack me randomly. Is there anything I can do to defend myself? The variety of enemies with different attack patterns is impressive though.

Thanks for playing and for a valuable feedback!

\n

Those black cats are supposed to attack you after some time you ve been in certain radius near them. When you ‘shoot’ them, they disappear for a while, but the white ‘ghost’ cat begin to circle around you and drain hp while you look at them. So the strategy is to move and collect orbs fast, shoot the black cats on your way, and totally ignore the white ones.

Good 3D environment with a dark atmosphere, needed to carefully read the instructions to be able to play.

Hey Dmytro,

\n

Great submission and very cool game! 3D games in a 13kb package is impressive, so huge props to you for this submission.

\n

My only feedback is that the gameplay itself was a little confusing - it would be great to have some text on the screen for tips/tutorial as you are playing. Also there were some UI/gameplay issues such as mice going backwards which seemed odd, but besides that this was a solid submission

\n

I recorded a video review for all the games here so that you can see my initial reaction while playing, which is often quite helpful from a user experience perspective. https://www.youtube.com/live/jl6pC4OnVJA?si=hadQmN9JZB93hDUM

Thanks for a great video review! That’s always insightful — to see real gameplay and get direct feedback on the game.

\n

There is an obvious flaw that I, as the developer, either didn’t see or underestimated: the confusion players face when first starting the game. The green balls are shards, and collecting them opens a door — I should have made that much clearer.

\n

And second, they were supposed to be black cats, not black mice. But I admit, that also reflects my 3D design skills :) At the same time, thinking of them as mice adds an alternative dimension to the game — you’re a black cat fighting black mice. That’s an idea worth exploring on its own!
