In “Cat Rooftop Adventure,” you need to help the cat climb as high as possible across the rooftops!

\nIf the platforms were more spread out or if they came quicker over time, the game would be more challenging.

You did a great job of balancing risk and reward by making the fish appear late in the scrolling cycle. And super impressive small size, too!
\nOne little thing I would change: Don’t require a mouse click to restart the game, since beyond that one interaction, a mouse is not needed. (I expected to be able to press Enter there).

That might be one of the most stressed out looking cats I have ever seen. The eye movement depending on where it was jumping to was a nice touch. I think the jump is probably too powerful. I could just jump to safety every time, I didn’t feel like I had to work my way up through the platforms.

\nI like that you stuck to the theme. it would be great if some more audio was added to the game in addition to the sound effects. This would really bring the game together nicely in my opinion.
\nI would also try exploring ways to weave in the instructions in to the game play.
\nNice one!

\nIt’s nice that you can jump through platforms from below so you don’t have to go around them
\nThe jumps are nice and high and there’s no particular peril except falling\nWhich keeps the game flowing.
\nThe fish are a nice touch, but as the play window is a bit small they aren’t easy to spot

\nI loved the simplicity and you did a good job with the User Interface. The colors were well chosen and everything seemed to “fit” together, and the audio was decent as well (especially for 13k).
\nFor feedback - I found the extremely high jump off the map to be a bit annoying, I know I like seeing where my character goes and I didn’t see any value in really jumping off the map. It allowed me to cheese the system by just keeping the jumping to the very top of the map and constantly win.
\nNonetheless, a very solid submission - good work!
\nI recorded a video review for all the games here so that you can see my initial reaction while playing, which is often quite helpful from a user experience perspective. https://www.youtube.com/live/jl6pC4OnVJA?si=hadQmN9JZB93hDUM
\nGood luck in the competition and good job!
