A King in a medieval castle collects gold coins that are spread across the labyrinth. Collect as many coins as possible and don’t end up at the bottom of the game field.

I didn’t think I’d enjoy this game but it was pretty cool, well done.

\n

Unfortunately the algorithm didn’t work correctly after about 4 minutes and I got stuck on a part where there was no forward path :(

\n

Also if you move far off the top of the screen… then you never collide with anything and the map scrolls forever, but eventually the hero appears again but inside a walled off room, leading to his eventual death.

Interesting take on a labyrinth game. I haven’t seen the labyrinth moving before.

\n

The sound effects are a bit screechy, and caught me by surprise.

I enjoyed playing this game, the jeopardy of not knowing if going after treasure would lead you to a dead-end that you would need to navigate out of to not get stuck was fun.

\n

A well thought out and implemented game.

\n

The sound of collecting the treasure was a bit loud and coarse.

\n

Also the movements were a bit low resolution, perhaps moving freely would be better rather than a whole block at a time.

This game was fun once the pace picked up! It would be nice if the game allowed you to hold down the keys to move, without taking into account the system’s pause-before-repeat-key delay, my fingers were getting tired of tapping when I finally died. Might also be good to not spawn gold in places that are sealed off from the player. Smooth animations, consistent held-key handling, and some more polished sounds would take this game a long way.

I liked this simple game, more than I initially expected. Simple graphics, that did the job. Well done!

This gets quite hectic :) Nice game.\nMaybe it would be cool, if the king would run smoothly instead of jumping in steps?

Some games are tons of fun even when they are very simple and this is a perfect example. Nicely done! I enjoyed speedily moving around the maze as it descended. I was able to move ultra fast because it was locked to a grid, which I appreciated! I would have liked it less with tweened, slippery, analog style movement. The movement was perfect as-is, in my opinion, perhaps because I can type mega fast but have poor platformer timing. It made me feel good at the game, moving a zillion tiles per minute. =)

Nice challenge. The difficulty progression is slow but it quickly gets hard. I got 74 points.

\n

The sound when you catch a coin is way too loud and sharp, it was painful.

\n

The theme fit is a bit farfetched.

Interesting infinite maze game.\nNot sure, is it possible, but looks like there are options to get the trap path before you will see it.\nSounds a little annoying.\nalso would be nice to have controls with key pressing.\nGood job!

Hello! Thanks for your submission to js13k!\nI’m sure you’ve worked hard on your game, but I’m not aware of how much time you spent on it, so excuse me if things I mention were in your mind, but got left out in the rush of the month or just because you hit the 13kb limit :)
