\nI liked all the little soldiers moving around the map, but after attacking I wanted them back to attach other bases.
\nI did ok in the tutorial when the enemy didn’t attack back, but past that I didn’t do very well, the CPU was a formidable opponent.

\nYes, game are not enough balanced.\nBut I’m working on similar strategy (even more innovative) for mobile.
\nYes, I can imagine more gameplay options - special buildings, global strikes (like spells for mana or spy for gold) etc
\nBut this project was concentrated on tech details and also it’s super hacky to fit into JS13k

\nThe interface is nice ’n clean. It’s clear what you’re supposed to be doing and how to do it. Nice!
\nGameplay-wise, it’s satisfying to send large armies after your enemies. The numbers don’t seem to “match up”, tho, by which I meant: if you have, say, 100 population and you attack an army of 50, it seems like your target “heals” as you’re attacking (or something), so your attack won’t finish off the army (but it feels like it should). A “fix” for this might be pausing the spawning while an attack is ongoing.
\nThe maps with multiple enemy factions get very complex and interesting! It does make me yearn for a little more complexity in the inputs / decisions available to me, but maybe those are possibilities for the sequel.
\nOverall very playable and well crafted game for just 13K! Good work.

The animations, the strategy and the upgrades. The vibe of the graphics is really cool as well. The only thing missing is some background music or sound effects! The one thing I would complain is the lack of feedback when I’m clicking. I never know if my clicks are actually doing something or if I’m over-clicking for nothing.
\nI found that in this game the best strategy is usually brute force. I was very aggressive right off the bat sending all my troops out because if I could conquer more neutral castles first, that gives me an edge.

Unfortunately you don’t bring noting new to this kind, however I did play a lot, and I could play for hours if it was multiplayer. And the visual is pretty good!
\nThe left click to improve is simpler and faster, however you need the user to read the manual. It sometimes is mandatory for 13k games, but we must try to escape form demanding manual reading. A button over the castle could be better.
\nThe CPU opponent is not improving its castles. That helps me to always easily win.
\nDid I told I loved it? Because I loved!
