Spider solitaire. But as we fear number 13 there are no kings - only 12 cards per suit. This seems to make it much more likely that you can complete the game! Click and drag cards, Ctrl-Z to undo as many moves as you like. Enjoy the animated deals and suit completions.

The controls are a bit weird. Clicking on a card sends it to a random fitting destination, but either I remember the rules wrong, and the game allows cards to be places wrong.\nThe card designs looked broken for me, with text overflowing their boundaries. You must consider that fonts render with different sizes in different systems. The game area also didn’t fit my screen, so I had to zoom out the page, which then made the cards look small.

\nGranted, it is fairly impressive to do this in 13k bytes.
\nDoes inject the theme by taking out Kings so there are only 12 cards per suit.

\nThe game didn’t scale to browser size, so I had to make browser bigger to see the whole play field.
\nI wanted to be able to drag the whole stack of uncovered cards, but only the bottom fully visible card could be dragged, I assume this is a variant of the solitaire I’ve played before.
\nAlso noticed that the game has a kind of cheat mode where just double clicking on several of the exposed cards would automatically put them somewhere.
\nI liked the Ctrl-Z aspect to undo moves

Unfortunately the game broke a lot for me. Multiple duplicate cards (2 Ace of spades for example), clicking the card off to the right side spawned a new row of cards (made lots of duplicates), I dragged a card off the screen and it disappeared, etc. Clicking on a card would automatically move it to a valid stack, which was confusing at first.

I like the feeling of dragging the cards around and matching them. I enjoyed that you had infinite moves, so I could “cheat” by lazily grabbing a card then randomly let go while wiggling the mouse and the game would be delightfully generous and assume I must have meant a nearby correct stack. Tee hee! I loved that! YEAH, that is totally where I meant that card to go, thanks! I also was impressed that you implemented undo. this all made for a very playable game! all it needs now are particles and screenshake and a huge boss battle evil card with TNT that makes nearby cards catch fire! muahahahaha! that sort of chaos is what I think this stately and classy and well made card game yearns for! =) thanks for joining js13k!

\nYou can add a lot of “juice” to a card game (have a look at Balatro!. I’m thinking that a card shadow would be nice and a smooth card movement animation when cards are moved from one pile to another.

There are no instructions included, which is a bit of an omission IMHO. Essentially, there are 2 decks of cards and you arrange them in suits, highest to lowest. The difference in this version is the lack of the King cards, because we’re scared of 13 cards in a suit :)
\nThe game works really well. You can drag same-suit stacks, you can click cards to fast-assign them to valid spaces (or drag them if you have multiple destinations they could go on). The graphics are functional but perfectly good, it’s quick, responsive and stupidly addictive. There’s no sound at all but I’m not sure you really need it. The lack of Kings is a great move, making it on-theme and giving it a subtle twist. Yes, you need to know how to play it to start with, but if you do, this is an utter time sink!
