\nWhat I was thinking: It was going to have generated levels and be a race to kill the plants before the water sprite could save them, I was going to include recharge time for when you went through a puddle. I had fun messing around with the voice API… I know it’s annoying it could use work too.
\nHow it’s unfinished: There is no gameplay designed yet, just a board with a player and an enemy moving around.
\nWhy it’s unfinished: I couldn’t come up with a game idea that I was excited about (I thought the theme was too broad) so I settled on the death of plants by burning. I lost enthusiasm and stopped working on it.

If you had different plant types, and the fire spread between plants of the same type, you could have a little strategy where you try to burn all the plants before your fire goes out by strategically catching certain plants on fire at certain points and letting the fire spread.
\nI think the actual mechanic of catching things on fire is kind of fun, and if the fire spread that would be even more fun. Add some strategy with different plant types touching each other so the fire spread only in a certain way and I think you have a cool game!

\nPretty solid “dueling” mechanic, it seems like. You could have some kind of total of how much of the board was blue/red, and win if it’s over X%. Or you could both start 100 health, and moving over opposing squares lowers health and flips the color, and you try to outlast your opponent by cutting them off.
\nNice work on a working concept!
