Touch the PCs and destroy it!

A fun little game. I like the idea behind it. I wasn’t sure what my goal in the game was other than to escape from the red circle. So I didn’t know how to progress. The instructions said to touch the PCs but I didn’t get any response to doing that.

\n

I felt like I wanted to use the keyboard to navigate but it just scrolled the DOM not the maze.

\n

Having left/right and jump/forward on opposite sides of the screen made it a bit slow to play on desktop. So it probably suits just the Mobile category as it was difficult to play on Desktop.

\n

The jump was useful to see where the enemy was to plan your escape.

Nice twist on the interpretation of death. Sadly the controls were weird on desktop and I wasn’t sure what to do.

Nice word play on the theme, and cute use of CSS 3D.

\n

Sadly, controls are very challenging on a PC, so I couldn’t complete the game.

Loved the interpretation of years’s theme!\nBut I didn’t know what I had to do exactly, even in description.\nControls are weird, page scroll, no keyboard events are binded, it’s not simple to move clicking on buttons

Moving using on-screen buttons is very unwieldy. Was it intentional?

Great idea for a game, it looks cool and ran smoothly. Though I had trouble moving around with my mouse, I sense that this would be perfect on a touchscreen device. Good work.

The game was actually fun to play. I felt this impending doom of the slowly approaching red sad face and it was stressing me out, in a good way. I wish this maze would have looked a bit more pixelated, like the old windows screensaver.\nI don’t know if i was supposed to see what your screenshot shows, but that’s not how my game looks like. It was basically impossible to play on desktop using the on-screen buttons, and because the whole page had scrollbars, so I tried on mobile. It was a better experience but the screen was really small. and only occupied half the screen. I wonder what screen size you actually used to develop this?\nThe controls were ok, but i was getting stuck on the corners often. Turning around was also a little bit too slow.\nThis game is quite promising if you want to finish it. It’s an unique approach to the theme at least.

Interesting idea of portraying death, game is rather simple, runs smoothly and it’s easy to play it, sadly it doesn’t become a challenge at any point so it’s not a game that you would want to play again hundred times but besides that, it’s a really enjoyable simple game where you can destroy some computers :D

The interpretation of PC’s death is interesting.\nThe point that the screen of windows7 is real feels the commitment to graphics.\nIt’s a pity that it’s difficult to operate on a PC, but I was able to move it smoothly on my smartphone and it was comfortable.

Well, this was a bit different! Run around the 3D maze, bumping into all of the grey sectors in order to turn them bad (they gain the ‘Problem has been detected’ Windows error on them) and try to do this before the Red Circle turns them all into Recovered sectors (the Windows wallpaper).

\n

You can turn recovered sectors back into bad ones again if you’re fast enough, too. In the end, you’ll find out how many bad and recovered sectors there were.

\n

It’s a nice twist on the theme this year. The only downside was the controls, which were really hard on desktop. However, I do feel that had it been easier to control (i.e., use WASD or arrows) that it would actually have been a bit too easy to play. So the awkward controls did at least give it a little bit more of a challenge.

Fun interpretation of the theme. I think the desktop controls would benefit from regular “wasd” + “mouse” first person controls. It’s a bit difficult to play.

\n

I’m not sure how to touch the PCs to destroy them. I think moving past them is good enough?
