Book of Death is a Bullet Hell game. Your goal is to return lost souls to the realm of the dead. You can do so by writing their names into your book of death.

\nNice graphics (if a bit small on screen)
\nIt took me a while to realise you had to move the square with the arrow keys onto the cross to get the names which you had to type in.

\nMaking the game area larger would help I think.

I don’t understand what the particles are, and I though i had to catch them, which is pretty hard to do.\nWhy can’t I back-space on the names? What happens when I write the wrong name?\nThe music is really nice, maybe a bit too upbeat for the theme.

\nIt’s easy to game the system once you realize a very long name gives you more hit points ;p

\nThe concept is really interesting and your take on the theme is really cool. I went from a really nice easy name on level 7 to something very long on level 8 and I feel like I barely scratched the surface of that game. Bullet Hell mixed with typing is very stress inducing but it works really well.
\nThe graphics are simple but really effective, you get everything you need to across without having to rely on some super fancy UI. The simple colour change of the blocks is enough to let me know that the level has swapped, but the pause and reset after each level is nice. Possibly (for the future) having an endless mode could be fun where the name location changes each time on the screen, but that’s not for this.
\nReally nice job!

\nI’m making sure that the games I’m evaluating receive a complete feedback and sometimes they are going too deep. The website has a limit of 2048 characters so I’m putting the feedback into pastebin. I’m very sorry for making you leave the competition website, but I think you really could benefit for a deeper insight.\nAlso, I’m sure you’ve worked hard on your game, but I’m not aware of how much time you spent on it, so excuse me if things I mention were in your mind, but got left out in the rush of the month or just because you hit the 13kb limit :)
\nWith those points, you can find your feedback here: https://pastebin.com/4v8B2Rk2
\nI hope it helps!

I’m not great at typing, so made a ton of mistakes, but still had a lot of fun. Nice graphics and colors between levels and cool music. Good job!
