Simple but fun, all works well, always enjoy a platformer!

Had all the basics working and highscores which is nice. Adding in some other traps / obstacles and maybe HP would be some nice improvements.

My score : 8241 :) Classical nice platformer. The others cats are very funny with their agressivity. At the beginning I was confused with the other black cat. I thought I had to play with both. Well done!

This was pretty fun! Nice level designs, and I agree with another commenter that the enemy cats were humorously aggressive. Also nice touch with rendering the shadow. That definitely helps, especially when jumping past the top of the screen.

In the description, it says you will be rewarded for your speed, but I wasn’t exactly sure how fast I should be going. Maybe adding a “goal time” and a timer would be good?

\n

Also, are you supposed to be able to clear the level without grabbing all the fish? I managed to do that in one level.

Thanks for your feedback. I really appreciate. To be honest I had to make choice to respect the delay. You are right in its current version the game authorize to end a level even if you don’t take a fishbone. :p As we can hear sometime, “It is not a bug, it is a feature” ;)

This was good fun to play. I liked the art style, particularly the little shadow that appears underneath the character whenever you jump.

This was a good, fun game to play. Nothing exactly innovative, but everything really comes together for fun. From getting the fish bones (I don’t know why?), to avoiding other cats while traversing platforms to find the door out, it was a lot of fun to play all the way through.

My only real critiques are that it would be nice to have some music as well (even a basic track) and I think that Blacky’s collision box could be just a tad bit smaller. I found myself getting stuck jumping a couple of times where I feel that I shouldn’t have.

I agree with the others that it can be confusing that some of the other cats look the same as you, maybe some other colours could’ve been included instead (like tabby, calico, tortie). I liked the minimalistic graphics but I wish the platforms had a bit more character than just simple grey boxes though.

Adding the shadow was a great idea, it really helped with the platforming. It’s a lot of fun to play and the sound effects add nicely to the experience, well done!

This is a simple, but good game! I do find it strange that there is a cat that looks like me, and when I bump into other cats, it is weird the way the cat flings about. I also found my cat to be big compared to the platform.

I like that the game is not too hard. There are only a few levels, but still fun to play. The cat fights are hilarious. Missing jumps over and over is not as fun. My suggestions are be to make the jumping easier (reduce the hit box) , make the levels big enough so the player is not leaving the visible area when jumping, and some music is always nice.

Very pleasant graphics and smooth controls. The fact that you can’t actually die is probably a plus here! Really cool animations for both the fish and the character, and I loved the unique walking sound effect.

The levels are quite straightforward and the platforming feels nice (the only thing, as others have suggested, would be to tweak the main character’s collision box a little). Great work, and thanks for the game! 😊

I like this a lot! Gameplay and audio are strongly remniscent of the Atari era, in a good way. :)
