Hey, nice little game there, but I’m a sucker for this genre!

I like the simple graphics and the little tune wasn’t annoying after many minutes :)

I think the building was too “sticky” as my cat kept getting stuck on it when I was trying to move around it to attack the baddies.

Nice one! It was a little scratchy in a few ways that might be improved: Would be nice if bumping the tower only prevented motion on the one axis, and you ought to show the available points at all times, otherwise the player calls up the upgrade menu just to see his points. But all in all, I had a good time playing this, thanks! Score = 87

The game was very fun to me. I like that it was very easy to understand and how quickly one can upgrade things. One thing that I wish you would do is have newer and stronger enemies come in a little less frequently until the player can understand exactly how the strong the new enemy is. I had a situation where I was very comfortable about upgrading one attibute when I should had probably upgraded another but since I ran into too much of the newly introduced enemy, I didn’t have enought time to make that decision the same was I would if I was slowly introduced to the newer enemy. I hope you can understnad what I’m trying to explain.

The audio was nice too! I think the audio really made the game come alive. I appreciate you making your game!

I had to disable “search as you type” in my browser settings to play the game. You should call .preventDefault() for all keyboard events to properly handle this.

I believe the game is rather good; although I think you should add arrow keys and/or zqsd since those keys are not use otherwise. The gameplay is ok, and the graphics too; maybe add different enemies (I didn’t see others but that may be because I’m not really familiar with wasd. Good luck!

🏠 Really nice game! The mouse-chasing part is fun, but the hitbox around the house felt a bit frustrating at times. It’s easy to get overwhelmed quickly. Also, the shop could use a little more readability to help the player make choices faster.

Nice core concept, maybe it would be good to add a little strategic elements, like an upgrade that lets you place a type of barrier for the ghosts or an upgrade that calls a handyman to repair the house (which first has to reach the house unharmed from ghosts)

Such things would make it interesting much longer.

Firstly, I love the hand-made feel of the graphics! The cat and ghost are charming to me. I do feel there should be a better indication that you have upgraded with your points, as I found it confusing on if I had upgraded, so something along the side that shows the upgrades would be cool!

Nice concept, fun little game.

Starts off easy and then gets really hard and chaotic late on but in a good way.

\n

There is some issue with the collision detection against the house which was mentioned in other comments before, it prevents you from moving along the edges.

\n

I felt the graphics weren’t very consistent, like the cat is in a very different style from the ghosts. I liked the diversity with the different types of ghosts though!

\n

The score is always shown but not the points available for purchasing upgrades, which would be more relevant. Also, the upgrade panel doesn’t tell you which options you can afford at the moment.
