Click on the tile to move it.
\nDepending on the tile, your score goes up or down.
\nThe game ends when the score reaches 13 points or more or -13 points or less.
\nFind the exit.

I think you had a good idea, but the numbers should always be visible, even far away numbers, so the game could be about planning the route instead of something so random.

It’s an interesting question, how you could give the player more agency without revealing too much. Congrats on submitting, nice job.

\nI think it would be nice to have the parts of the level you’ve visited stay visible. The movements were very slow, and the number of points going up or down seemed to be random?
\nPerhaps having the current score always visible would be good to help keep track of it.
\nThis was more a mobile game than a desktop game (with the portrait aspect ratio).
\nThe font was a bit “electric” and jumpy.

\nAlso the popup-menu to move or get a hint is not working in regard of gameplay-flow. You coukld cahnge it to doubleclick for movement and single-click for “help”. Or make a help-button and use the single-click for movement. something like that.
\nAnyways: Congrats for making a game below 13kB :-)

I feel like I didn’t quite understand exactly how to move with a sense of strategy and was more just exploring a minecraft world waiting to see what came next. thanks for joining js13k!

(Right now, as soon as I’ve exhausted the hints, it’s a “mad dash to the exit” kind of strategy.)
\nNice text effect on the title screen! Works well with the background ambient audio.

The background sound feels like static, I think replacing it with something less buzzing would make the whole player experience more positive?

\nOn the other hand, a display of the current value would have been handy. And I recommend keyboard controls instead of having to click twice for each move.
