This game illustrates the chaos of charging cables when your phone’s battery is running low. Players are challenged to find the correct path through tangled wires to help charge the phone. It’s a puzzle-solving experience where you need to think quickly and carefully to connect the right cable and keep your phone powered up.

I don’t understand how to play this game. The instructions in the description don’t help. I couldn’t pass the second level.\nToo bad because the game looks fun and has nice music.

\n

Edit: ok, i got the drag and drop now, but the game suffers from several bugs where I can’t click on anything, or drag blocks to their right location. It’s a shame because the idea seems to be really fun, but it could use with some amount of testing. I have the graphics and the music.

Fun little puzzle game. I like the music and sound effects. It’s nice an chill and works really well for the game.

\n

However, for a long time I was unable to get past level 2. I can’t seem to drag charger at all (per the instructions). The only thing I’m able to do is click the arrows which move the charger non-stop in that direction. This causes it to run into a wall or obstacle on level 2 and lose. It took me asking about the game in Slack for others to try for someone to figure out how to play the game. The instructions were quite unclear.

\n

Also, sometimes the game gets stuck on the loading screen. I’ve found I’ve had to close the game and open it back up in order to get past the screen.

You found an excellent set of mechanics that work together for puzzles. I imagine with more time and without the 13kb constraints, you could add more help text and tutorial levels to explain the basics. Congrats on submitting, nice job

For anyone coming here and getting lose:

\n

Drag the shapes onto the playable area, they control direction of the cable, bit tricky but you can use the shapes to route the cable to the end point.

\n

Was able to select the correct shapes and build a path “UP > RIGHT > DOWN” etc to get to the end. Was not sure at first but worked it out.

\n

Simple fun game. Consider a tutorial level that highlights to the player what to do.

Very unintuitive, but a fun puzzle concept once you understand the controls. Cool minimal atmosphere!

The premise is hilarious, but there is something about the graphic style that makes it unclear what can be interacted with and what cannot. I didn’t realize the shapes above could be dragged in the play area. It would also be useful to be able to remove a shape, as they have a tendency to snap on the wrong tile. These 2 things get in the way of what is otherwise a cool game.

A tricky little puzzle game. Could be a bit more guidance to get started, but once you know what youre doing the game makes a lot of sense. Some tricky puzzles!

It takes a while to get used to the overall function of the game. However, it’s very fun! For a game with this much function I wish there was some kind of solid tutorial or practice area that the player can use to get used to things.

Nice puzzle game.\nSeveral types of blocks adds diversity to gameplay.\nSome of the levels can be solved in several ways.\nGood music.

\n

Dragging elements would need some refining.

Hi there! Thanks for your submission to js13k!\nI’m sure you’ve worked hard on your game, but I’m not aware of how much time you spent on it, so excuse me if things I mention were in your mind, but got left out in the rush of the month or just because you hit the 13kb limit :)

\n\n

I took some screenshots with some minor feedback https://x.com/javascripl/status/1838331441354281122

With just little improvments this game should have been nicer.\nIt took me time to realize I should drag items to solve puzzles.\nMoreover, drag placement is a bit hazardous due to mouse position detection I think. It’s not easy to place an item, and not able to move it after, unless restart whole level. I did’nt understand all features, like some brown block that killed me at first level, then later allows me to stop movement then continue.\nLevels are not bad after all this steps passed, music and sounds are ok too

Good concept and design, but the controls weren’t intuitive for the player. Tried on both desktop and mobile and was struggling with the 2nd and 3rd stages.

I’ll be honest - I had NO idea you were meant to drag the very chunky pixel icons from the top strip down onto the gameboard. So on level 2 I kept dying over and over and was just about to give-up, when I accidentally dragged an icon and then it all made sense! You essentially plot a path for the cable to wind to the battery, by dropping down guide arrows and avoiding danger zones. On later levels you can rotate the guides, and you always have a limited number of them, plus the cable can’t intersect itself! So planning is required. Graphically it’s quite nice, super chunky pixels and bleepy synth sounds. I’m not entirely convinced this is very on-theme, but that doesn’t stop it being a thoughtful puzzle game.

Took me a while to figure out that I have to drag the direction arrows ;) Solid puzzle game! Well done!

I’m afraid the game didn’t work at all on desktop, it just got stuck on a flashing battery and went no further. There wasn’t even anything showing in the error console.

\n

Then when I changed the shape of the screen I could see something hidden underneath.

\n

When I finally got something working, the game was pretty neat.

\n

Very much a monochrome game, and the swipe on desktop wasn’t as intuitive as mobile.

\n

The music sounded really good.
