Feedback from the judges

Diego González: Wonderful work. OMG this game is utterly phenomenal. The perf and gamefeel and physics is great, the enemy AI works, the guns are wicked, the sprites are amazing, the level progression, with BOSS BATTLES and upgrades screens is fantastic. The omission of sounds is a humungous enormous devastating travesty, this game needed sound and music so badly, everything else rocked my world! That said, with all the other amazing things in this game, there couldn't be room for sounds - I respect that! You went for pure gameplay and succeeded. Now that the compo is over, a 256kb version with sounds would be spectacular, so I warmly recommend you keep working on this one! I want to play Bulletcraft ][!!!!!!

Christer Kaitila: Great game with simple but yet effective pixel art. Good physics & game control. Love the good sense of humor :-) Interesting use of TypeScript.

Jupiter Hadley: I like that you took the time to make an upgrades shop! The graphics look great.

Mike Cook: Super, super good, this is a great idea for a jam game - small scope, simple, catchy idea, lots of polish. Love the visual style, getting all kind of indie flashbacks from this, bullet-time usage is fantastic too. Would love to see this expanded more, with an improved jump/control model I think? But this is really hgreat!

Jimmy Joe McGurl: Really enjoyed this one and think it had a fantastic look and feel. Great pixel art, satisfying bullet-time mechanic, and I like the way it gives you a bonus bullet-time after taking a hit. Shopkeeper rage reminds me of A Link to the Past. Def a great arena-shooter/arcade game. I think it could use varying jump heights, but that's the extent of my wants here. Great game!
