backstreetsback

Explore everybody's backstreets on a new level (pun alert!)! This is a rail-shooter inspired collection game (purely gaze based, no controllers needed) where you collect lyric snippets by the Backstreet Boys. Enjoy!

Feedback from the experts

SĂ©bastien Vandenberghe: The concept is fun enough I wanted to see more lyrics :-) Unfortunately the fact that I am not in control of the movements made me feel a bit dizzy.

Josh Marinacci: Cute. The graphics are effective and I didn't get dizzy. I wish the music were better and that the targets moved or did something else to make them harder to hit.

Fernando Serrano Garcia: It could be great if the mechanics about moving around were using teleport or some "user-controller" activation. Moving the camera in a random direction while the user is looking at another direction is making me feel sick :)

Diego González: Ah the throwback to my teenage years. You made me open Spotify and look for the song! It is an interesting idea for a beat saber/music-lyric/matching type of game. I think the game could benefit from handling onboarding a bit better in order to understand exactly what to do and not try to figure it out while you just look at things around you. I like that it is an audio experience, and that it works on mobile devices and headsets as well.

Jupiter Hadley: By the time I got around to this entry, it no longer worked :(
